DON'T WORRY, BE TAPPY:
ORIGINAL DANCE ACCESSIBILITY INITIATIVE
Combining my passions for tap dance and community service, I founded "Don't Worry, Be Tappy," a four-pronged approach to increase dance accessibility in underserved populations:
I created an extensive series of original, free online tap dance instruction videos with accessibility tools for deaf and hard of hearing dancers.
I originated a dancewear drive in my high school and dance studio, collecting more than 1,000 pieces of new and gently used clothing, shoes, and costumes for underserved communities.
I researched, developed, and present a live performance, interactive, multimedia presentation on the history and evolution of tap dance for senior living and community groups.

I love sharing the joy and creativity of dance with students of all ages! I volunteer weekly as a teaching assistant for dance students ages 2-5. Guiding them through their very first recitals is a highlight of my year!
